- Mario Kart Tour lets you race across real world inspired tracks with iconic Mario characters, Frenzy mode, and online multiplayer.
- The developers have confirmed there will be no offline version, leaving many fans disappointed.
- You can continue using Rubies, enjoy free Gold Pass benefits, and claim refunds for unused paid Rubies before EOS.
Nintendo Co. has announced the shutdown of its famous casual racing title, Mario Kart Tour, set for September 29, 2026. Since its launch in September 2019, the game has entertained millions of fans, even surpassing 200 million downloads and generating over $200 million in player revenue by 2021. But after seven years of memorable service, it is finally on its last lap.
The beloved Mario Kart Tour is preparing to cross the finish line
Like many fans, I was genuinely saddened to hear that Mario Kart Tour is coming to an end. I mean, it was one of those games that made racing feel fun with tracks inspired by real-world cities, cool Frenzy mode, and a variety of drivers, carts, and collectibles to unlock. You can race against up to seven other players, earn Grand Stars, and have fun.
Unfortunately, the Mario Kart Tour team has announced via the official X account that the game will shut down on September 29, 2026, stating, “We sincerely thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your continued patronage since the service launch.” However, the team didn’t reveal the exact reason behind the game’s closure.
You can still enjoy the game and claim its remaining benefits before EOS
Although Rubies sales have now ended, you can still spend your existing Rubies in the Pickup Shop, Mii Suit Shop, and Coin Rush until the server closes. Even better, everyone can enjoy free Gold Pass benefits with the Vacation Tour beginning on August 5, 2026, until the game’s final day. Though Gold Pass is discontinued, current subscribers can keep their benefits until EOS too.
Sadly, Nintendo has confirmed there will not be an offline version after the shutdown, despite many fans requesting one similar to Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete. Personally, I think that’s the most disappointing part, because Mario Kart Tour is still a very enjoyable game and its positive reviews across app stores prove that. Fans also agree, with one saying, “It’s a shame to see this game go.”

PakarPBN
A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
