Project R.I.S.E developers now feel “confident” after major rebuild, here’s what was revealed ahead of the next beta

  • Project R.I.S.E developers rebuilt core gameplay systems after cancelling the November 2025 Beta.
  • New Tower paths now offer structured climbs, better matchmaking, and predictable session lengths.
  • Hero kits are deeper now, though Beta launches with only six heroes available.

The “Barely Beta” test cancellation happened six months ago, and there was definitely plenty of disappointment within the fanbase, including me, who was looking forward to trying the game. But finally, the Project R.I.S.E team has finally shared a detailed development update, and this time, the message is much more positive.

The developers of the upcoming action title from Supercell admitted that the version planned for Beta last year simply was not good enough structurally, which is why they made the difficult decision to cancel the test entirely. But after stepping back and rebuilding major systems, the team says they now feel more confident about the game’s direction than they did before.

Gameplay changes coming to Project R.I.S.E with the upcoming beta

The makers have mentioned that the core gameplay remains the same, but the major confidence is in the foundation that the game has over the long term.

The Tower Structure has been completely redesigned

Talking point ahead of the next beta will be the Tower Structure getting a major upgrade. Earlier, Project R.I.S.E was built around one endless Tower climb. Now, climbs are split into different difficulty paths that you choose before starting.

They’ve listed them as Brave, Heroic, and Legendary, while they carry 5 Floors, 15 Floors, and Long-form climb, respectively. The idea is to split them session-wise, since the Legendary extends to a longer one while the other two keep it short.

This also fixes one of the Alpha’s biggest issues: teammates leaving mid-run. Once your group starts a climb, everyone stays together for the full session. Matchmaking is also now based on selected difficulty instead of current floor progression.

The team also confirmed that an infinite Tower mode is still planned, but it will become a late-game challenge rather than the core experience.

Hero Kits are now “deeper than ever”

The makers mention that in earlier versions, most upgrades were static, meaning you selected builds before starting and didn’t really change much during runs. The developers tried replacing that system with Trinkets and Spells last year, but they felt it was at the cost of the “heart of each hero”.

Now every hero has a Light Attack, Heavy Attack, and Skill, but the real depth comes from upgrades unlocked during climbs. For example, Archer can unlock homing arrow volleys after using Skills, Valkyrie can slam enemies after spinning, and Barbarian can summon additional Barbarians during combat.

Beta launch with fewer heroes

One tradeoff from the deeper hero rework is a smaller launch roster. The upcoming Beta will include six playable heroes: Barbarian, Archer, Valkyrie, Firecracker, Bomber, and Goblin Brawler.

Meanwhile, older heroes like Countess and Fisherman, alongside announced characters such as P.E.K.K.A, Battle Machine, Hog Rider, Bandit, and Hunter, are still in development. The team says they would rather delay heroes than release unfinished versions again.

Despite all the major changes, some previously revealed features remain intact. Leaderboards are still planned so you can compete with friends and other players, while voice chat, hero skins, and the season shop all remain part of the game.

When will the next Project R.I.S.E beta release

As of now, a new test date hasn’t been announced, but they confirmed development is actively continuing and that another playable version is not too far away. Will keep you updated on the same.

PakarPBN

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.

In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.

The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
